Pink Roses on the Easel

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for a new Rose Painting.  It is hard to believe that we are already into July and our Roses have already been cut back 2 times.  I picked a few before our gardener prunes them back.

Let's join Bentley, my Studio Assistant, in the garden to see what Roses are in bloom.

In spite of our 5 year drought the Roses are doing well with limited watering -  they seem to have adjusted and are thriving.

I used a combination of pink Iceberg Roses and my favorite and joyful Our Lady of Guadalupe Roses

Thank you for stopping by.  I sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those following my blog.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings, Erin

Beautiful post and your pink roses are stunning. Yes, the roses do adjust and are very forgiving. Your painting looks really good also.

Enjoy your weekend.
