Favorite Summer Time Places In My Garden

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit with a glass of lemonade while I share with you some of my favorite places in the garden.  We are in the midst of a heat wave and the perfect time to cool off in the garden shade.

The sap bucket makes a fun container to hang on the back of an Adirondack chair. I change the look from time to time by adding different flowers and paint colors to the bucket.

Perfect spot for morning tea before it gets too hot.

The Sunflowers planted in pots are in full bloom.
The little path behind my house leads to the kitchen garden.

The umbrella creates a nice shady spot to sit.

We have very little rain in the summer months and I like to use old thread bare rugs in the garden to add a little color.  The pillows are all indoor/outdoor fabric and also add much needed color

The Nasturtiums are in their final bloom stage as they do not like the heat. I will be sorry to see them go as they put on such a show!

Bentley's favorite spot to hang out!

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those following my blog.

Everything looks lovely in your garden.

But, I imagine it was not pleasant out there yesterday with the combination of heat and fire. I wonder if the ash from the fire made it all the way to you. My friends on PCH in Malibu shared a photo of a black sky. It was so hot here that poor Little Lulu hid beneath the open window of the Dutch door. She loves the cool tile.

Stay cool today!
