Pansies, Pansies, Everywhere Pansies

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art.  This time of year our Winter Pansy plants are in  their hay day as they like cooler weather in Southern California.  Since they are they are the only flowers blooming in my garden I will be sharing lots of them with you - hope your are not tired  of seeing me paint them!!!!

Let's go in the garden with Bentley, my helpful Studio Assistant to see which pansies are blooming.

Every year I hang seasonal plants on the back of my Adirondack chairs.

This is an old photo that I  sometimes like to use when painting Pansies because of the bulbs and Pansy seed packets.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would lie to see me paint something special.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings,

Pansy Inspirations

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art. We are having glorious weather in Southern California and my Pansy plants love it - cold at night with lots of sun during the day.  We are enjoying the weather while we can as next week we are expecting rain and cold weather again.

Let's join Bentley, My Studio Assistant, to look for Pansy inspirations for a little painting.

I love using my old vintage Radio Flyer wagon to showcase seasonal plants.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.

Painting Pink Tulips

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art. Seems like every year I start thinking about Spring in early January when the garden is bare. Are you as anxious for Spring as I am ?  I love to plant bulbs in November and December so I will have a little color in my garden.  Let's join Bentley. my Studio Assistant, in the garden to look for pink Tulips to paint.

I am joining in with all of the pink lovers for Pink Saturday at www.howsweetthesound.typepad where you  can find lots of beautiful pink posts.

I love the way the pale pink Tulips look in the blue and white vase and decided to paint them.

I dropped the blue and white pitcher and broke off the handle - no worries - I just added it  when I painted the pitcher!!

I read that by dropping a penny into the water will keep Tulips from drooping  so much after they are picked and tried it - it seems to work!!!

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.
Don't forget to head over to Pink Saturday at www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com.

Have a lovely week.   Blessings,  Erin
