Painting Zinnias

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea in the cool morning.  I planted Zinnias early this year and they were in full bloom by March - now they are all bloomed out for the year so I picked the last of them to make bouquets to share with friends and also paint.

Let's join Bentley, my Studio Assistant, to pick the last of the Zinnias.

I picked a big bouquet  and arranged them in various containers.

I decided to paint the Zinnias in the vintage Ball jar as I loved the contrast.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those following my blog.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings,  Erin

Handsome as always sweet Bentley - and the zinnias are so colorful and gorgeous in the different containers Erin.

Nothing much blooming around here due to such a torrid summer, flowers are struggling in the triple digits days and not a lot of rain the past couple of weeks. Figs are loving it though, my trees are heavily laden and jam making is moving forward with such prolific harvest - we're picking loads daily, and the birds are in heaven with so many to eat!

Happy summer days in California.
Hugs - Mary

Lovely post. Your zinnias are so pretty. Love your painting. I got a few to sprout in pots and got a few blooms. Maybe I'll get more next year.
Thanks for sharing yours. Enjoy the rest of your week.
