Pansies, Pansies, Everywhere Pansies

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art.  This time of year our Winter Pansy plants are in  their hay day as they like cooler weather in Southern California.  Since they are they are the only flowers blooming in my garden I will be sharing lots of them with you - hope your are not tired  of seeing me paint them!!!!

Let's go in the garden with Bentley, my helpful Studio Assistant to see which pansies are blooming.

Every year I hang seasonal plants on the back of my Adirondack chairs.

This is an old photo that I  sometimes like to use when painting Pansies because of the bulbs and Pansy seed packets.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would lie to see me paint something special.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings,

" I shall walk at liberty, for I have sought your precepts."  Psalm 119:45

Your pansies are beautiful, and your painting even prettier. I love all the bright colors in it. Your garden looks like spring is on the way. I bet your garden a peaceful and special place to be. Have a relaxing weekend.

Wow, that looks so beautiful. All those wonderful colours. I wish my pansies looked like that at the moment, but we are having snow again. I just have to be more patient. I am a new follower and just love your blog. I will be back soon !!

Never tire of seeing your pretty pansies, or anything else you and sweet Bentley have grown in your lovely California garden Erin dear! I didn't get to plant any in the Fall as is usual, away too much, so am really missing them as Spring gets closer. Maybe I'll get to the garden center later in the week and see if they are still available to pop in all those bare spots! Pansies are SO beautiful and come in many new colorways now, hard to choose but do love the purples, blues and yellows.

Returned from the Antarctic expedition a couple of weeks ago - it was such an awesome trip in every way - wildlife just magical and scenery beyond one's imagination. I'd go back in a heartbeat!!!!

Happy day dear - woof to Bentley.

Hi Erin
I love pansies. They are so cheerful, just like little faces. Your paintings of them are delightful. I haven't visited in awhile so I am going to enjoy catching up on what you've been doing.

I can't wait till the pansies are available here! I always fill several white wash tubs full of violas for the backyard that I can see out the windows! Love your painting as always!
