Pansy Inspirations

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art. We are having glorious weather in Southern California and my Pansy plants love it - cold at night with lots of sun during the day.  We are enjoying the weather while we can as next week we are expecting rain and cold weather again.

Let's join Bentley, My Studio Assistant, to look for Pansy inspirations for a little painting.

I love using my old vintage Radio Flyer wagon to showcase seasonal plants.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings, Erin

I love pansies...they always look like they are smiling! The red wagon is so fun...I still have the one my boys used as children..it's rusty and you can barely make out the logo..but I love it!

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND BENTLEY,
For the beautiful and large article done about you in FLEA MARKET GARDENING. I love how they photographed all the rooms of your garden. SOOOO VERY PRETTY.
I love that magazine and I think I remember seeing a post about it but forgot...I would love to have 14 windows to build that glass greenhouse...I just loved it...every time I pick the magazine back up, I see something I miss.
Hugs to you and Bentley

Hello Erin!

I have very much enjoyed visiting your inspiring garden today. Those cheery, vibrant pansies have granted me a much needed splash of colour and I thank you for that! Your painting is as beautiful as ever.

I wish you a peaceful, inspiring Sunday.

How lovely! Your pictures, your paintings, your words and of course your adorable assistant Bentley are always so uplifting. Pansies look like they are about to burst into song...reminds me of Disney's film where the flowers are singing, I think it was Fantasia?

Anyway, bless you and your wonderful soul, and we are very fortunate that you share your beauty and talent with us mere mortals...

Erin, this post brought tears to my eyes! I am a long time follower and love your talent to capture the moment!
When I was younger {many years ago} every Easter I would walk down to this big white farm house where this little old lady lived and she sold pansys in pots that she dug from her garden. I would buy my mum a pot every Easter and she would plant them in her beautiful flower beds. The nest with the robin eggs remind me that every spring mum and I would watch to see who was the first to see the first robin. {I do that now with my daughter}
This painting brings back many wonderful memories for me! My Mum went to heaven, and this year I will go and buy some pansys to plant in her honor!

Thank you Erin, for the tears and the smiles!

Hugs,
Dolly
