Painting Pink Roses

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art.  Our Lady of Guadalupe roses are in full bloom.  It always seems that the first blooms of the season are the most beautiful and most fragrant.

Let's join Bentley, My Studio Assistant, in the garden and we will show you the inspirations for a pink rose painting.

Oops - looks like the bird house is leaning a little to far-I am afraid to straighten it as I do not want to disturb the birds. .. will take care of it after nesting season.

It was  a joy painting pink roses with such much beauty in bloom.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, comments, e-mails and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.  This year I want to document some of the scenes in my garden and am working on  a series of small paintings that will one day end up in a book that I am writing about inspirations from my garden.  I will share the paintings with you as I paint them.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings, Erin

Hi Erin!
Oh my ...what beautiful roses you have in your garden. Sigh...one day I hope to have a garden as full and beautiful as yours. It's one step at a time here on the farm and I'm afraid trying to get our pastures to grow better grass has become our #1 priority around here. Maybe next year I will bring in a few more perennials to fill in the empty spaces. Your painting is gorgeous! I hope you have a wonderful week Erin...
