Painting Last Pink Roses

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is open for you to come in and sit and relax for a few minutes while I share with you the inspirations for my art, however, it is windy and chilly today so we will be in my studio.

We have had a very mild winter so far here in Southern California and our Roses have not been pruned back yet for the winter, and  I have been busy painting the last of our Roses before they are pruned this week.

Bentley, my Studio Assistant, is waiting in the garden to bring you into the studio!

I  am still recovering from re-occurrence of an auto immune issue and in my down time have been experimenting using a palette knife to paint with for added texture.

Thank you for stopping by.  I have missed posting and visiting with you and  am now well enough to post more often.  I do post almost daily on Instagram and you can follow my art and garden on my Instagram page by clicking on the link t top of the page.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings, Erin

"For you shall go out in joy, and be led back in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall burst into song." Isaiah  55:12

Your work is so inspiring to me. I am trying to start painting again, but I am so scared to commit it to paper. Art was my major in college, Actually Interior Design, but I haven't painted for forty years or more. Any advice for me? I like oils. I have my room set up and my paints but not inspired.

I was just thinking about you today that I haven't seen any posts from you and I was going to send you an email to see how your were.

So sorry that you have been ill. But your paintings of your roses are beautiful. My gardener has started pruning. It take a little while here as I have 100 rose bushes and they do need a lot of care as I had a bad summer with my COPD with all the wind and fires - not good.

Beautiful paintings.

Mary

Really this above article is very impressive and informative article. Thanks to you for sharing this useful and interesting article with us. I have really very enjoyed to reading this piece of content. Do you know about the cries affect the student's self esteem. Screaming can give us the impression of being powerful, and that the situation is under control. But we are sending a message of lack of patience and tolerance. So shouting at our students may tell them that they are doing it wrong! This leads them to believe that they are not living up to our expectations, when we wanted them to obey. The solution? The screams block essential parts of the students' brains. Which is an obstacle to learning. Therefore, guts.pk/shop/category/art-supplies/brushes/ said that it is necessary to set limits and to regularly remind the class charter.
