Flea Market Tour

Welcome.  I am so happy that you topped by.  I took  a little break from painting  yesterday to go to Behind the Picket Flea Market Place with my friend Marilyn and wanted to share a few photos with you.  My new friends and the fabulous Mother and Daughter team who own the charming sign shop, Far Away Hood, made me an adorable new sign for my garden and I picked it up at the flea market.

I wanted a bright green that would go with my outdoor accent pillows.  Bentley, my Studio Assistant, is in the kitchen garden eating Parsley and Mint because he has a stomach ache from eating something yucky that he found on our walk and  will not be able to join us today to show you the new sign!!!
The sign is mounted on old barn wood and is presently being worn by Blossom my vintage dress form.

Far Away  Hood always have lots of new signs and some charming new designs just in time for the  summer weddings,  They can be reached at 760-644-7343 or you can find them on Face Book under Far Away Hood.

We meet a delightful and very talented doll maker who has been featured in Stamptington's PRIMS magazine.  I lost her card and am sorry I can not give you her name or information on how to contact her. , however, you  can call Behind the Picket fence at 714  486-8049 if you are interested in her work and they will be able to put you in touch with her.
She gave me permission to share her work with you.

Marilyn and I fell in love with her dolls.

With our California drought there were lots of charming Succulents planted in vintage containers.

Linda Bucci is an amazing artist, jewelry designer and metal smith and her work has been published in Stampington magazines and can be seen on her blog www.lindabucci.blogspot.com

Linda is the visionary who started our Eastside Art Group and she  and I will both be at the Balboa Island Art Walk on May 17th - she will be in space 9 and I will be in space 11.

Thank you for stopping by.  I sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those following my blog.  I will be back after the art show on May 17th.

"May he grant you your heat's desire, and fulfill all your plans".  Psalm  20:4
