Cottage Garden Tour

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea. I am home recovering from knee replacement surgery and thought you would enjoy a re-post of one of my popular posts about Jeri's charming cottage garden tour.  Thank you for all of your prayers, healing thoughts and best wishes.  I am doing well - just not quite ready to start painting and getting out in my garden.  Bentley, my Studio Assistant, was  boarded while I was in the hospital and will be happily coming home tomorrow to assume his duties in the garden and studio.

Today I would love to re-share with you a charming garden owned and created by Jeri Cunningham in Old Towne Orange, CA.  Jeri's garden was recently featured in the Premiere Issue of Vintage Style Magazine and was on the Mary Lou Heard Memorial Garden Tour.  The garden tour features Real Gardens by Real People and 100% of the proceeds go to support local charities.

Jeri lives in a 1916 Craftsman bungalow and owns Jeraldine's Interiors - Interior and Outdoor Design and her creativity and talent is evident in her garden as well as the interior of her home .

Her front porch is so charming.

Her son-in-law, Michael Scott,  handcrafts cedar planters, garden benches,  potting benches ,obelisks, adorable flower totes and and all kinds of charming cedar garden decor.

I fell in  love with the vegetable stand Michael Scott made.

I love his cedar garden tote and  obelisk and want to buy them for my garden. Prices are very reasonable and you can visit their website at http://www.thecedarrose.com/

Let's take a little tour of Jeri's Garden Room.

She  also opened her delightful garden room filled with her fabulous vintage collections for the garden tour.

This is another one of Michael's charming garden potting benches.  It  can be used indoors or outdoors as it is made from Cedar.  Unfortunately I bought my potting bench a few years ago and it is not nearly as nice as his - wish I had known about him back then - his even has a drawer and two shelves and mine from another company has a "fake" drawer.

Jeri's pottery collection is charming.

Thank you Jeri for the tour of your delightful garden and garden room.  Jeri can be reached through her website at http://www.jeraldinesinteriors.com/ or jeri@jeraldinesinteriors.com.

I have visited Jeri's garden many times on the Heard's Garden Tour, and it is always one of my favorites! She invited me into her home last year to look around, and it was as lovely as her garden.
