Inspirations for Painting A Blue Chair

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea in the cool morning breeze while I share with you the inspirations for my art.  There is a little touch of Fall in the early morning air and I don't know about you, but I can't wait for Fall.

Let's join Bentley, my Studio Assistant, in the garden to look for inspirations to paint a blue garden chair for a friend.  She loved one I previously painted with a red Geranium and I want to try and reproduce it while the red Geraniums are still blooming.

The Geraniums off my kitchen are still blooming as they are on the sunny side of the house.

The blue bistro chair is the one I want to paint.

I wanted the painting of the chair to have a light background like the previous one I painted so I placed it in front of the white garden gate.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, comments, e-mails and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.

Have a lovely week.   Blessings,  Erin

Oh, Erin, how FABULOUS! I just love the blue paint on the chair---the "in person" chair and the painting. You are fabulously talented! Susan

I scrolled through the email w/your photos and painting several times then just had to come see it "in person". Lovely post - beautiful paintings (again). I'm charmed by that blue chair and geraniums. Love it! I feel like I've strolled through a cooler climate of blooms and color - thanks!

Yes Erin I agree; part of the pleasure of creating is certainly sharing and it is alwyas A JOY to visit this beautiful place of yours and take a peak at your vibrant art.

Autumn has arrived despite with its chilly mornings and warm afternoon sun. I hope you are gleaning inspiration from its rich colours.
