Painting Pink Roses

Welcome. I am so happy that your stopped by. My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art. Many of the flowers are fading now that Fall is fast approaching, however, the Roses are still blooming. Let's join Bentley, my Studio Assistant, in the garden to look for pink Roses to paint.

Finding inspiration .. . . .

Here . . . . .

There . . . . .

Everywhere . . . . . .

The pink Roses were the inspiration for the painting.

"Art In The Garden"

I will be taking a little blog break to work on some Fall paintings and will be back on

September 30th.

Have a lovely week. Blessings, Erin

I love seeing what you do with inspiration and especially since it comes from flowers usually. I need to get back to painting one of these days!

yOur roses are beautiful, but I am afraid, Bentley steals the show. I could take him home with me. I love your little painting too x

These are beautiful roses Erin. I believe I recognize Rosa Pierre de Ronsard (pale pink with pale green on the edges).
it is interesting to see the sensitivity of each artist through their painting, how he / she interprets his/her subject. This is sobering and inspiring in the same time.
I like the way you painted the roses with this free, colored style of yours. I like it.

I love the pink roses. I am not ready for Fall or giving up the colours of summer. I will be glad for cooler weather though. I love to paint as well and have not had time recently. I hope this weekend I can get the garden put to bed for winter. Then maybe I can get creative again.
You are inspiring
