I loved the look of the roses in the old silver dish and this was the final inspiration.
The winner of my "Vintage Rose" painting is Shirley C. Her blog, http://www.prayersformymom.blogspot.com/ was started by her daughter when she was diagnosed with tongue cancer to bring an awareness to bloggers of the seriousness of tongue cancer. I am happy to report that Shirley is doing great and is a very thankful cancer survivor. Please drop by to say hello and read her inspiration story.
Thank you for stopping by and for participating in the Miracle Makeover Blog party and for leaving comments to help raise $2,190.00. I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, comments and those who follow my blog. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special. Next week we will paint a garden birdhouse due to the many requests I have received to paint a birdhouse.
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Blessings, Erin

What an inspiring story of love and courage. Your painting is absolutely beautiful!Congratulations Shirley!
First, let me say how happy I am to know of the money raised in order to help someone else get a makeover - or an inspiration to stay positive - as I would put it.
This painting is beautiful, and I already know where it is going in my bedroom.
The summer after my major surgery, my DH helped me to do my own bedroom makeover into a shabby chic style that really lifted my spirits. This painting will just be the "icing on the cake."
Thank you so much.
Oh, I was so excited. I forgot. Email me at this addy, and I'll send you my address.
Thanks, again.
