First Anniversary Celebration/Give-Away

Welcome to my First Anniversary Celebration/Giveaway. I am so glad that you stopped by.

Please join me and Bentley, my very helpful Studio Assistant, for a cup of tea in my Fall garden for a giveaway to THANK all of YOU for your support of my new blog. Words can't begin to describe how much fun it has been getting to know so many of you in Blog Land, and how appreciative I am of each and every one of you who visited my blog, left comments and are following me on my journey "looking for inspiration for my art - here - there - and everywhere.

I am also honored and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have mentioned my blog on your blog and have shown The Painted Garden under your favorites.

One day I received a phone call from Barbara Jacksier, http://barbarajacksier.blogspot.com of the Book Blog and author of the fabulous book, Waterside Cottages, asking permission to show my art on one of her blog post. We had a delightful chat and she said something that sums blogging up for me - she said "my husband equates blogging to having lots of fabulous pen pals all over the world".

Bentley

I poured you a nice cup of hot tea.

The garden is all dressed up for Fall in your honor.

The pumpkins and scarecrows are all in place.

The garden is all decked out for Fall and ready to celebrate all of YOU.

Bentley is anxious for us to get to your Thank you giveaway.

Bentley has a good eye for finding inspiration in my little garden!

I wanted to show you this cute idea for displaying seasonal flowers in an old sap bucket by hanging it on the back of an Adirondack garden chair.

Now that you have relaxed with a cup of tea, it is time for your THANK YOU Give-Away. The first prize is a $100.00 Gift Certificate to Anthropology. If you do not live near one of their fabulous stores, you can visit their on line store to pick out your gift. The second prize is a $50.00 Gift Certificate to Anthropology.

Hi Erin
Congratulations on one year of blogging! I just love visiting you and seeing the wonderful paintings you've created and all your "inspiration" I would love to win the welcome sunflowers sign. It would be perfect at my house! What a generous giveaway. There is an Anthropologie store very close to us. I've never bought anything there but I sure would love to! I never seem to win giveaways but maybe I'll win this time.
Hugs, Rhondi

Hi Erin, your new website looks so beautiful and I would really love to enter your giveaway...however...I cannot pick a painting I love the most at this moment...definately have to think it over because I love so many of them. : ) Please enter me though..

By the way, I love the addition of the pricing on your site, that is a smart thing that you did.

Good morning Erin! Congratulations on your blogging. I agree to blogging being as having pen pals all over the world! I use to have pen pals from Scotland and England many, many moons ago! Of course the handwritten letter is still so nice. I have never shopped at Anthropologie or looked at it before. But I do love your paintings. It was a toss up between two of them, but I really like the one with the garden chair and red flowers.
You show us such beautiful things and areas that I am always amazed.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Take Care!

What a wonderful anniversary celebration you are having. Your giveaway is soooo generous! I would be honored to have one of your loving paintings in my new home. My painting of choice is the red geraniums. I love all that you do, but geraniums are my favorite flower...

Hi Erin,
Congratulations on your one year blogging anniversary. Your blog is such a delightful place to visit. Always puts a smile on my face. You are celebrating in style here with a very generous giveaway. I had a very hard time deciding between your paintings as they are all lovely. I do especially love the red bicycle welcome sign, however.

Thanks for this opportunity to enter the giveaway.

Congratulations. The First Anniversary is wonderful. Besides everything beautiful you do, I am amazed at Bentley. I think Disney Studios might like to use him in a film. He is like a dog movie star. I would like to sign up for the Anthropologie gift and the beautiful painting of pink roses. You are an inspiration to me.

Love, Leslie

OMIGOSH Erin, what a generous giveaway! Winning one of your paintings would be plenty, but then you're putting the gift certificates in with the prizes! Congratulations on your anniversary. We must have started blogging at about the same time. I am also celebrating my anniversary with a little giveaway (it was on the post before the one you just visited) - my giveaway doesn't compare to yours though. I have so enjoyed coming here and seeing your beautiful art and being inspired, and I know I will continue to enjoy visiting your lovely blog. I'd love to win any of your paintings, but if I had to pick, I think I'd really like the Red Geranium. Your garden is so pretty all decked out for fall. Love the scarecrow's tea party! laurie

Erin,
Congratulations on your anniversary, your artwork and your blog is always a pleasure to visit. What a generous and amazing giveaway. Your new web site is wonderful, did you design this yourself, it looks fabulous. My favorite painting? It is hard to pick, but I love the Garden By The Sea with those lovely french doors escorting you outside for peek at the sea view.

I am so excited Erin, I don't think I have ever seen such a generous and lovely giveaway. Congratulations on your new web site, it's a perfect showcase to show off your beautiful work.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU, ERIN AND THAT ADORABLE BENTLEY,
I see he is still on duty, always out looking for Inspiration. I hugged him through the monitor for Amy and me.
I think I may have heard someone mention Anthropologie before but the greatest give away aside from your friendship would be one of your paintings. Amy and I still take magical rides on the pink bicycle you sent us.
If we were so blessed again to receive a painting of yours I love the flower shoppe. It is so very pretty and there is nothing more rewarding than to walk into a flower shoppe.
I LOVE...LOVE....ALL YOUR PAINTINGS....I KNOW YOU WILL BE BLESSED AND SELL THEM ALL....THE ONE OF THE GIRL ON HER RED BICYCLE OUTSIDE THE LAVENDER FARM AND THE GIRL WALKING THROUGH THE FARMERS MARKET WITH ALL THE DISPLAYS......YOU ARE SO VERY, VERY TALENTED.
If you designed a button with your web/blog address I know there are hundreds of us who would display it on our blog.
I love all the pumpkins you and Bently have decorated with. I especially love the maple sugar can with mums in it on the back of your chair....what an awesome ideal.
Thanks for all your prayers, Erin and for letting me know about your give away. I can't blog like I use to and I know you know that.
CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN TO YOU AND PRECIOUS BENTLEY FOR ONE YEAR OF BLOGGING AND TO MANY, MANY YEARS TO COME.
ANGEL HUGS
LOVE
Debbie

Well, if I can't win Bentley, my choice of your beautiful paintings will have to be the WELCOME sign with the bucket of gorgeous blue flowers - that would look delightful on my front porch. All your work is amazing - hard to chose a favorite Erin.

Love Anthropologie - nearby shop recently opened and I was able to get my latte bowls (so nice - strong and glazed for stain-free coffee use!), and it was my lucky day - I bought a gorgeous sweater jacket, an early B'day gift from my DH! Love their offerings so would be a delighted winner - could treat my granddaughter to something special as she loves the store too but is thrown a curve when she reads the price tags, sigh!

Congratulations on one year blogging anniversary. You have certainly showered us with color and loveliness.........and of course handsome Bentley!
