Balboa Island Art Walk

One hundred year old historic Balboa Pavilion located across the bay from the Art Walk.

I am thrilled to be participating in the Balboa Island Artwalk, a juried fine art show, on May 17th. This will be my 8th year in the show which features art, music, sun and fun for the whole family. Over 100 artists show their work along the beautiful Newpor Bay.

Each artist has twenty feet of space to display their art and set up a charming individual little shop. These photos were from last years show - my theme was "County French Cottage" and I showed mostly French inspired art.

My white market umbrella with lace has become my signature in the show and serves as a way from my family, friends and customers to find me among 100 other artists.

This year my theme is "Seaside Cottage Garden" and I will be showing art with a seaside and garden theme.

Here is a little taste of art I will be showing this year.

I will will be on a blog break the weekend of May 17th for the Art Walk and will return the following week with lots of photographs to share with you of the art show.

Thank you for visiting. I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your taking time to leave me a comment and follow my blog. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.
Have a lovely week. Blessings, Erin

Wow! What a beautiful place to attend an art show! Your paintings are beautiful and your lacey unbrella is too! The umbrella seems to have been taken right out of one of your paintings. Good luck. laurie

Hello to the person in New York who asked me what color I use to paint my sky. I use Prussian Blue and white for my sky and water - I sometimes use a little turquoise and light blue in the water along with the Prussian Blue.

I am so sorry that I deleted your e-mail by accident before I could answer your questions and hope that you will see this.

Your art work is beautiful and so inviting. Makes me wish we had a beach cottage. Do you sell your art anywhere beside art shows?
