Panting Pansies In My Studio

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  We have been having much needed rain and cold weather and it has been to cold to enjoy the Winter Pansies blooming  in our garden.  I brought some inside to my studio to paint and you are invited to come to the studio with me to sit and relax for a few minutes with a cup of hot tea. Bentley, my Studio Assistant,  is waiting to show you around.

Thank you for stopping by.  I sincerely appreciate your visits, e-mails, comments and those of you following my blog.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings,  Erin

Art In The Garden - Pansy Love

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea while I share the inspirations for my art with you. We recently had some much needed rain in Southern California and our Pansies have never looked better.  They are at their peak bloom in  early Spring when the weather is cooler.

Let's join Bentley, my Studio Assistant, in the garden to look for Pansy inspirations for a little painting. I receive so many e-mails asking about Bentley smelling the flowers.  He is a very curious Wheaten Terrier and his favorite thing to do in the garden is to  "sniff" everything -  especially the flowers!!!   I walk him every day and he pulls on his leash to sniff the neighborhood  flowers - one neighbor said " I think Bentley is stopping to smell the Roses."

I plant my Pansies in pots so I can move them around the garden to sunny areas.

I also like to plant them in the basket of my vintage bicycle and other unusual containers.

"Art In the Garden" - With so much inspiration I decided to paint 3 little pots of Pansies and add a bird nest.

Thank you for visiting me.  I sincerely appreciate your e-mails, visits, comments and those of you who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  I will be on a short blog break working on some large coastal cottage paintings for the gallery and will be back Easter week.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings,  Erin
