Looking for Rose Inspirations

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  Today we are going have a quick cup of tea and  leave the garden and take a little trip a few miles down the Pacific Coast Highway to the beautiful Sherman Library and Gardens to look for Rose inspirations.  I am so blessed to be teaching art classes there as part of their "Art in the Garden series" and will be teaching how to paint a simple Rose in September.

The gardens are located a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean on 2 and 1/2 acres filled with glorious seasonal plants and flowers, a greenhouse with tropical plants and Orchids, a library , charming gift shop, tea garden and fabulous cafe.

Our classes are usually held around the fountain in the beautiful tea gardens.

The beautiful surroundings are inspirational  for our art in the garden classes.

The Rose gardens are lovely this time of the year.

The turtle pond is one of my favorite places - the Otter is adorable.

                                                                   The shade garden.

After I returned to my garden I found more Rose inspirations.

The classes are open to all levels so I decided to teach how to paint a simple Rose bloom .

"It is possible, so far it depends on you, live peaceably with all."  Romans 12:18

Thank you for stopping by.  I sincerely appreciate you visits, e-mails, comments and those following my blog.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings,  Erin
