Flea Market Gardens Magazine

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My garden gate is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of tea.  Today I am very excited to share with you that my garden was featured in the current issue of Flea Market Gardens. All of the beautiful photographs on this post  were taken by the fabulous photographer Michael Garland, my garden was styled by the Divine Sunday Hendrickson, and the article was written by Debra Steilen.  Thank you Michael, Sunday and Debra for the stunning photos, beautiful styling and heartfelt article that captured my colorful garden and love for vintage finds that inspire my art.

The adorable garden shed on the magazine cover was built by one of my blogger friends - Mary Mirabal of www.gardenwhimsiesbymary.com.

My garden was photographed in July 2011 just after my annual Fourth of July garden tour when it was decorated with some of my vintage wooden flags and tin stars and the article is titled Americana Charm.

Here are a few of the photographs in the article: PLEASE DO NOT PIN OR  USE ANY OF THE PHOTOS ON THIS POST AS THEY WERE TAKEN BY MICHAEL GARLAND FOR FLEA MARKET GARDENS MAGAZINE.

When the weather is nice I like to use old rugs in the seating  portions of my garden  to give the feeling of an outdoor room.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your comments, e-mails, visits and those who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.

Have a lovely week.  Blessings,  Erin

Congratulations on a brilliant article! I have been reading my 2013 copy at lunch times and was happy to get your comment on our page.

It must have been fun to see the crew working to make your garden, already so fantastically 'junkie,' ready for the magazine. You know I mean junkie in the best possible way!
I love the idea of using vintage table cloths as pillow covers...
