A Holiday Affaire Christmas Botique

Welcome.  I am so happy that you stopped by.  My home is always open for you to come in and sit and relax with a cup of hot tea while I share with you the inspirations for my art. I don't know about you but it seems that the Holiday season is in full swing and everybody is going a mile a minute getting ready.  I am going to join you for a cup of tea - I have been so busy painting today that I dipped my paint brush into my tea on two different occasions!  Time for me to take a break!!!

This time of year I am busy painting Snowmen and Snow ladies to donate to a local charity for raffle prizes to help raise money for Christmas for families in need of a little help. This year I was invited to participate in A Holiday Affaire and take some of my Snow people to show and sell and you are invited to attend with me.

There will be lots of fabulous original gifts and art, jewelry, ceramics, altered dolls, holiday decorations, scarves, gourd art, mixed media, etc. and my Snow people. The affaire is located at Bungalow Bucci at Linda and Robert Bucci's charming bungalow in Costa Mesa.

Let's join Bentley. my Studio Assistant to look for inspiration and take a look at some of my Snow people that will be there:

Snow ladies and their pink bicycles. I have so much fun painting Snow people as they each have their own personality - love finding places for the birds to perch on them!!!

I will also be selling bookmarks, tags, as well as my small original paintings of Snow People.  Everything of mine will be priced form $10.00 - $30.00 and will make very affordable original art gifts.

Thank you for stopping by.  I love hearing from you and sincerely appreciate your visits, Comments, e-mails and those of you who follow my blog.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see me paint something special.  I have had several tutorials on painting Snowmen greeters in the past and will repeat one for you next week.

Have a lovely weeek and I hope some of you local bloggers can come to the holiday Affaire as I would love to meet you.

Blessings, Erin

Wish I could come, Erin, but it's too far from Western Massachusetts! Looks like it's going to be a super show, though. Susan

Well - after I posted my comment on your previous post - I decided to read this one too. I had been dragging about over the upcoming Christmas season. Seems the commercialism of it was weighing me down (and we've been sick here for a while and that might contribute to it). But after reading about your involvement in the Thanksgiving banquet your church provides and then your post on your contribution of your art here, well, suddenly, I could feel the snow and welcome of winter (which neither of us really have much of) and the Christ-mas season. Thank you. I'm blessed twice today by your blog.
I was admiring the lace table covering on the one photo when I realized the little paintings along with it ... the rose and ribbons and everything - so beautiful.

Thanks again!

Oh, your snowmen are so pretty, and the paintings are very nice. I usually have the traditional red and green decor for Christmas, but I am in love with this white snowman you have here by the shutters. It is so cute. Snowmen are one of my favorite things to put out during this time. Christmas is upon us, and I hope you are enjoying this special season.

All your little paintings are just adorable. I am sure they will decorate a new home very soon.
I love your snow man and woman at the door. Bentley seems very interested !

You made me smile when I read that you dipped your paint brush in your tea. Dipping my paint brush into my coffee is very usual for me :o) so now I drink my coffee at my computer.

I wish you a lot of success for your Holiday affaire.
